This weekend, if you’re lucky enough to be attending PAX Unplugged in the City of Brotherly Love (that’s Philly, btw), you’ll find plenty of Pinnacle products over in booth 233 (Studio 2 Publishing). And just up the aisle, be sure to pop by Carolina Game Tables in booth 349 to check out their amazing tables and accessories and to say “Hi” to our very own Jodi and Clint Black.
Once again, it’s time for Gen Con (The Best Four Days in Gaming™) and as always, Savage Worlds will be well-represented. Whether you’re shopping for goodies (or Bennies) in the mighty Exhibit Hall, supporting us at the ENnie Awards, playing in any number of scheduled Savage Worlds events, or sitting in on our Saturday evening seminars, you’re guaranteed to have a Savagely good time.
First, find all our products (including all three (yes, I said three) issues of Savage Worlds Explorer) at the Studio 2 Publishing area (#2029) in the Exhibit Hall. And while you’re shopping, keep your eyes out for a few of us popping up from time to time if you want to chat, ask questions, or get your books signed.
Second, come cheer on Pinnacle at this year’s ENnie Awards (Friday at 8pm in the Grand Hall at Union Station)! This time around, Rippers Resurrected is a Judges’ Spotlight Winner while the following have all been nominated:
Third, get all the scoop about upcoming Pinnacle plans from some of us on the inside at the official PEG Seminar at 5pm on Saturday at the Crowne Plaza, Victoria Station, in Room C/D. Immediately following this, we hand the mics over to some of our amazing, Official Savage Worlds Licensees to find out what they all have in store for you!
Lastly, this year’s event schedule is jam-packed with Savage Worlds games aplenty, and if you’re GMing one of those scheduled games, don’t forget to swing by the booth on Thursday to pick up your swag (coupons) from Jeannine.
With a dozen or more stretch goals met and funding over 1,000%, I’d have to say their campaign has been pretty successful. They’ve also introduced a dizzying array of additional materials, from backer-selected minis to Savage Worlds Miniatures Transporters to soundtracks, and I really don’t know that they’re done rolling out new material!
Don’t let this one slip by you. Be sure to check out the Hell on Earth Miniature Mega-Release Kickstarter before it’s gone. The Grandmaster Traveling Warband pledge level now has so many bonus rewards that it’s worth over twice its price and comes with free U.S. shipping (with worldwide shipping available at astonishingly low rates).
The campaign is more than fully-funded now (over 800% of their $3,000 target), but you can still pack more minis into their initial release by helping them hit more stretch goals. Remember, getting the word out and recruiting your friends can get you more minis just as effectively as pledging more money.
For those who weren’t aware, by the time of the Wasted West, Hellstromme had long since transplanted his brilliant mind into a robot body. The final incarnation of this mechanical marvel is extremely powerful and armed with an array of weapons. Good thing he’s…wait, that would be telling!
At less than 25% through their schedules, they’ve hit over 400% of their funding goal—and they’re not just sitting still! They’ve added eight new pledge levels, options for picking up additional Stretch Goal minis at discounts, and preview banners for seven additional Stretch Goal minis.
They’ve even lowered the target for their Wormling goal by $5,000 in appreciation of everyone’s support and feedback. Seriously, who else is going to give you a five thousand dollar discount for feedback? See what the hoopla’s about now!
Our friends at Studio 2 Publishing came up with a new idea for the Hell On Earth miniature set. With a blowout Kickstarter, the whole line of Hell on Earth minis could be released at the same time as the Hell on Earth printed rulebook instead of dribbling out a few a month afterwards! That’s right, at the same time you get your print copy of Hell on Earth Reloaded, you could also populate your gaming table with potentially dozens of denizens of the Wasted West in small scale!
If you’re one of those people who doesn’t play Hell On Earth (not that there’s anything wrong with that), check out the Kickstarter anyway. The minis are suitable for all sorts of genres, including modern, post-apocalypse, post-modern, and sci-fi! Even if that doesn’t get you, the illustrated audio drama should!
Everyone in the Wasted West needs a little bit of lead on their side to help keep off a bad case of the Glows. Support the Hell on Earth Minis Kickstarter today!
