Even though Gen Con 50 is still several weeks away, those planning on attending will want to clear some space on their calendar now for both of our scheduled seminars on Saturday, August 19th at the Crowne Plaza, Victoria Station, in Room C/D:
From 5-6pm, it’s the official PEG Seminar where you’ll get all the scoop about upcoming Pinnacle and Pulposaurus plans straight from the mouths of those on the inside!
Immediately after that, from 6-7pm, stay in your seats as we hand the mics over to several of our awesome Official Savage Worlds Licensees to find out what Savage excitement they have in store for the future!
Origins is now behind us, and Gen Con is coming up fast. Be sure to mark your con-calendars with a few important seminar times!
- PEG Seminar—3:00 pm Saturday, Crowne Plaza Grand Central Ballroom A/B
Come on in and sit a spell with the fine folks here at Pinnacle in the swankified new space con organizers gave us! Catch up with what we’ve been up to, find out secrets of what’s coming next, and see how everything is going. History suggests that Shane will let at least a few things slip that he shouldn’t, so be sure to get a front row seat!
- Savage Worlds Licensee Seminar—4:00 pm Saturday, Crowne Plaza Victoria Station A/B
That’s right, the licensees get their own time this year. Just head over to Victoria Station (where the PEG seminar has been in recent years) to stick around and see what all Savage Worlds goodness is coming your way from all our gaming friends and allies.
Oh, and there’s all that Savage Worlds gaming. Be sure to check the program for the games you want, and be sure to let our own Jodi Black know what games you’re running. And, of course, don’t forget the amazing Sixth Gun RPG game run by Cullen himself on Thursday evening at 4+ Star Rock Bottom Brewery—check the Sixth Gun RPG Kickstarter for full details.
See you in Indy!
It’s hard to believe Gen Con is a week behind us. Just because it’s past doesn’t mean you have to let it go, though! Smiling Jack’s Bar & Grill has a recording of the Pinnacle Seminar posted for you, and there’s an interview with Shane Hensley at Gen Con out there as well. Whether you couldn’t make it or just can’t let go, these are for you.
And speaking of stuff you really wanted to buy in the Gen Con Dealers’ Hall,* here’s your chance. The new die-cut Savage Worlds Token Sheet is available on the Pinnacle Web Store. These double-sided counters will help you mark all the status effects you could want in Savage Worlds, from Aim to Wound and everything in-between! As an added bonus, you can even get it free (with a $100 or more order, otherwise it’s a ridiculously reasonable $9.99). I don’t know how long this deal (or the supplies) will hold out, though, so buy your Token Sheet now before it’s too late.
* Yes, that segue really was just as smooth as you thought it wasn’t.
We’re on the way to meet you at GenCon 2013. Most of the Pinnacle staff will be there, including Shane Hensley, Evil Mike and Chaos Steve, Clint and Jodi Black, Matthew Cutter, Preston DuBose, and even the elusive “Teller.”
Be sure to drop by Booth 619. Not only will the Pinnacle crowd be in and out, that’s where all our stuff is! Oh, and what stuff it is! You’ll be able to put your hands on all the Deadlands Noir goodies from the Kickstarter (like the dice and cards), all the back-in-stock custom Savage Worlds Bennies, the Gen Con-exclusive Red Rum t-shirt, and pretty much everything from the warehouse!
Want to play a game? There are nearly 100 Savage Worlds games on the schedule, and Evil Mike and Chaos Steve will be running games in Room 108 of the Convention Center.
Meet the whole Pinnacle gang and find out what’s going on at the Pinnacle Seminar. That’s 4:00 on Saturday in the Crowne Plaza Victoria Station C/D.
Several Savage Worlds licensees will also be there. Many will be at Booth 619 with us, but others will be scattered throughout the massive dealers’ hall.
We look forward to seeing you there, and being there ourselves!
We’re putting the final touches on our plans for going to GenCon 2013—much like a lot of you are probably doing right now—and we hope to see you there.
Need a little more convincing? How about new Pinnacle products, the majority of the Pinnacle staff, the Pinnacle seminar, and nearly 100 Savage Worlds games!
We’ll put together more details for you for next Tuesday. You go finish packing.
If you’re coming to Gen Con, be sure to come see us and get in on all the Savage Worlds goodness you can!
Once again, Pinnacle Entertainment Group will be with Studio 2 Publishing in Booth 419. Pinnacle staff will be poppin’ in and out of the booth, so drop by for your chance to catch one live!
While you’re there, keep your eyes open for all our printed products as well as direct and show-only materials like our customized bennies or specialized dice. All the exciting new stuff will be there, too—Savage Worlds Deluxe: Explorer’s Edition, Hell on Earth Reloaded, a Hell on Earth Reloaded Soundtrack, The Last Sons Plot Point Campaign for Deadlands Reloaded, and the world debut of the Savage Worlds Miniatures Case!
Savage Saturday Night will be chock-full of Savage Worlds gaming. Come on by Saturday at 8:00 pm in the Marriott Indiana Ballroom E, even if you’ve only got generic tickets and a dream. Once again, we’ll be pairing up players with additional GMs as we can, so don’t lose hope. That also means if you’ve got a Savage Worlds game you’re willing to run, be sure to contact Evil Mike and Chaos Steve as early as you can.
The Pinnacle Seminar is Saturday at 4:00 pm in the Crowne Plaza, Pennsylvania Station A. Drop by for an hour or so of previews and Q&As with both Pinnacle and the available Savage Worlds licensees. I’m sure Shane will let something slip, so listen close!
And neither last nor least, if you find yourself at loose ends Friday around 9:00 pm, take a moment to be jealous of The Don’s Party for our very special Kickstarter supporters of Deadlands Noir.
Whatever you do, be sure to enjoy your time at Gen Con, and we hope you enjoy some of that time with us!
