If you’re looking for conventions in your area featuring Savage Worlds events, just head over to the Pinnacle Conventions page. It’s positively brimming with up-to-date con information for 2018!
This weekend (Presidents’ Day weekend here in the United States), consider a trip out to GenghisCon in Aurora, Colorado, Tri-cities RadCon in Pasco, Washington, or DunDraCon in San Ramon, California.
The Rocky Mountain Savages put on one heck of a show with GenghisCon featuring over 50 Savage Worlds games and, of course, one of the best run Savage Saturday Nights around. You can also game with a few fast, furious, and fun folks, friends, and fellow fans (that’s a LOT of “Fs”) including Sean Patrick Fannon and Darrell Hayhurst, both of Savage Rifts® fame. If that’s not enough to convince you to attend, wait ’til you get a load of their latest promo video!
If you’re near Pasco, Washington this weekend, be sure to head over to the Red Lion Hotel for RadCon, this year featuring Scott Woodard (Flash Gordon™, The Sixth Gun) as this year’s Gaming Guest of Honor, plus John Goff (Deadlands, Deadlands: Hell on Earth, Deadlands Noir, and so much more), as well as Sara and Brendan Quinn of Squid & Crow.
Finally, find frequent collaborator, Randy Mosiondz at DunDraCon in sunny San Ramon, California.
Never mind the lumps of coal, this time around Santa’s bucking tradition and leaving big ol’ chunks o’ ghost rock in everybody’s stockings regardless of whether they’ve been naughty or nice.
You and your players are guaranteed to have a Scary Christmas and a Happy Nuke Year in the Wasted West with Christmas at Ground Zero, a brand spankin’ new and absolutely FREE One Sheet for Deadlands: Hell on Earth Reloaded penned by the one-and-only Shane Lacy Hensley:
The Pryor family live in a well-kept secret haven of the Wasted West, but fate catches up with them this Christmas Eve. They’d best hope Santa brought bullets and shotgun shells, because things are about to get weird…
This adventure requires the core Savage Worlds rules and Deadlands: Hell on Earth Reloaded to play, but GMs without access to the latter can wing it pretty easily.
Download Christmas at Ground Zero today!

* Why, of course, these fabulous deals are for a limited time only. Don’t worry, that comes up in a few sentences.
Is your Wasted West gettin’ too small? Are you hankerin’ for more? Your time is comin’, partner, and this time it’s in a good way. Like we said earlier this month, you’ll be seeing the Hell on Earth Reloaded Companion and The Worms’ Turn both come available for preorders (or immediate PDF purchases) this month, but when would be a surprise. It’s not happened yet, and it’s not happening today. Since there’s only one week of October left, you might not be as surprised as possible when they’re both available next week!
The Hell on Earth Companion gives your scav what she needs to be an honest-to-Oppenheimer cyborg and also adds two new Arcane Backgrounds—Librarian and Witch! If you’re not lookin’ for more weird, just more BOOM, there’s plenty of guns and gear, details of more dangers of the irradiated future and vehicle combat, and a chance to talk to a lonely AI in the sky…
Hell on Earth: The Worms’ Turn is set in the aftermath of the massive battle called The Harvest. Sure you banished the Reckoners, but what about those other, older terrors you didn’t realize they were keeping in check? The Worms’ Turn updates the events of the Wasted West, contains several Savage Tales ready to weave into your story, and has a full-length Plot-Point Campaign all set to go!
So be sure to tune in here next week for the biggest expansion Hell on Earth: Reloaded’s seen since all those ghost rock bombs went off! You’ll also get a shot at discounted bundle options, but their half-life will probably be way less than most of what you’re used to in the Wasted West.
Last week, we told you that the Hell on Earth Companion and The Worms’ Turn Plot Point Campaign were coming in October. We also said exactly when would be a surprise…and it still is!
They’re not here this week, but who knows what the future holds? If we did, would we make it Hell on Earth?
Don’t despair—we wouldn’t just tease you for fun. Until that hallowed day of delivery, enjoy your very own set of cultists from the upcoming books, from the hand of Jon Taylor.
That’s right, amigo, there’s more Hell on Earth a-comin’. Sometime in October, we’ll be releasing the Hell on Earth Companion and The Worm’s Turn Plot Point Campaign.
So, when can you expect to see these beauties showin’ up as PDFs and as discounted Print Preorder-PDF bundles? Here’s the thing—it’s a surprise. It could be early in the month, like a “Hell on Earthtoberfest,” or it might be more of a later, “Hell’oween on Earth” sort of thing. Either way, it’ll be like everything else the Wasted West has to throw at you—even if you know it’s there, you’ll never really see it comin’…
We teased some of what’s coming up with the Pinnacle preview flyer at the Gen Con booth, but here’s some highlights of what’s coming for Deadlands settings if you missed it.
Deadlands: The Weird West gets even more dangerous. Stone and a Hard Place is the third Plot Point Campaign for Deadlands, and it stars everyone’s favorite hard-nosed hero-killer—Stone. Enjoy a visit to the Weird West’s spaghetti Western roots with blazing six-guns and all the Tombstone (and tombstone) action you could want! Relics will bring you several objects that have become imbued with the powers and personalities of their users or the great events they’re part of. This collection will bring you the most potent, but beware—power always comes at a price.
Hell on Earth expands! The Hell on Earth Reloaded Companion has new Edges and Hindrances, more gear, expanded vehicles, and additional Arcane Backgrounds like bibliopaths, cyborgs, and witches! It’s not all good news, though, since it also includes an expanded Adventure Generator and more new horrors of the Wasted West. The Worm Turns brings you a full-fledged Plot Point Campaign with the shenanigans of the Iron Alliance and the Combine in the post-Reckoners Wasted West.
Lost Colony returns, with a relaunch from the team of John Goff and Cheyenne Wright. This all-new edition of the game is written from the ground up with everything you need to continue the story of Deadlands on the fantastic planet of Banshee and in space itself! The Lost Colony Companion will deliver a complete Plot Point Campaign and include more character options, Savage Tales, and creatures of Banshee.
The Big Easy card game brings the fast-paced world of the hardboiled detective in Deadlands Noir to a new format. For two to four players with a 30-60 minute play time, this new game from Deadlands Noir creators John Goff and Cheyenne Wright makes visiting the mean streets way more convenient, but no less deadly!
Watch here for more information as we have it, and check the Pinnacle preview flyer for more details.
