Quick question: how are adepts handled in a No Power Points setting? Specifically, with the ability in the errata replacing the +1d4 damage (1 PP for 2 AP on unarmed strikes), since there are no Power Points, are those better handled as per a standard power activation (so a no-penalty miracle roll) or should they just get the 2 AP all the time? Second solution seems simpler but might be overpowered? Curious what the official/consensus line is?
I would suggest having them follow the no power points rules. Have them make a roll, if they fail then bad things happen or they can take damage (treated as hurting their hand on the armor perhaps.)
Like Holy Warrior in a No PP game, they make a Faith roll to activate it and consult the relevant rules for penalties (-0) and results (Success, no raise effect, failure is Shaken, 1 on the Faith die is 2d6 minus (Faith/2) damage).
Basically, it becomes a 1 PP power with no raise effect. (Related post) _________________ "Got a problem? I've got the solution: Rocket Launcher."
