The Rocky Mountain Savages are getting ready for Genghis Con 2013 and we've got a hekuva an array of games for you! More than 40 adventures over four days! More than a dozen games on Savage Saturday Night alone!

Savage Worlds
Warblammer 39,997.2K
Rebellion has erupted on the deep-fryer-forge world of Boog, a vital fast food center in the Dysinterium of Man. Empress Maxine Pad III has ordered you to retake the planet and dig the revolting Boogers out of their dark holes. However, there are more than Boogers to wipe out because the Empires enemies hunger after Boog as well: The sarcastic Space Dorks, vicious fashion vampires called Metrons, and even the ever-complaining Eldarly have all been seen scouting Boog’s fattening atmosphere. Fortunately, you’re not just some run-of-the-mill cyborg killing machines, you’re the infamous and terrifying Space Weasels! Savage Warblammer is a humorous (hopefully) and low-brow (definitely) adventure for immature people. In the future, there is only war...and pudding! Beginner welcome, characters provided.

Savage Worlds/Twilight 2020
Retreat Into Danger
The nightmare of nuclear war didn’t fade away with the dissolution of the Soviet Union - it was just delayed. Now you’re stuck in a war that nobody wanted and didn’t think could happen. The problem is that not everyone is out of the way. Beginners welcome. Characters provided.

Training includes: Savage Worlds Rules Review, Idea Generation and Refinement, GM Preparation, Running a Con Game, and GM Tips and Tricks. Give the storyteller inside you a voice! You’ll be thrilled when you do! Beginners Welcome. Characters Provided. Confidence Assured.

Savage Worlds
Umber a Blood Red Sky
The village of Arnegax has been peaceful and quiet for many years. That is until a hole opened up near the temple of Alvilag, God of the Underworld. Since then all manner of strange beasts have been issuing forth, laying waste to the land. Only a few retired adventurers and some of the local untested youth can hope to stem the tide, at least holding the foul creatures at bay until the king's army arrives. It won't be easy and many won't return, as none of the volunteering heroes have ever encountered anything like this before. Gritty Damage and Critical Failures setting rules will be used.

Savage Worlds
Kingdom of Counterpane

A Cog in the Machine
Randolph Preston, a student at Miskatonic University, is missing. The police have no leads and his rich father wants answers. You have been offered a handsome reward to find him, or find out what happened to him. This game will be using the “Dark Spiral” (gritty/gritty) version of the RoC setting rules. This is a port to Realms of Cthulhu of a game with the same name which was run at Tacticon 2012 using the Call of Ctuhlhu game system. Rules will be taught and characters will be provided.

Savage Worlds/Realms of Cthulhu
The Haunting

The former tenants were involved in a tragedy, and the owner wishes to understand the mysterious happenings at the house and set matters straight. He offers to reimburse the player-characters for their time and trouble. This game will be using the “Slippery Slope” (pulpy/gritty) version of the RoC setting rules. This is a port of a scenario of the same name which is published in the core Call of Cthulhu book from Chaosium, Inc. “The Haunting” is perhaps the most played CoC scenario ever. Now you can play it using the Savage Worlds game system. It is an excellent scenario for first time players. Rules will be taught and characters will be provided.

Savaged Warhammer 40k Black Crusade
The Harvest
The unrelenting "Justice" of the God-Emperor has been brought to the Devout followers of The Harvest on the Agri-World of Chantar 3. Whispers of promises of a bountiful harvest fill the dark recesses of the Devout’s minds during the relentless attention of the Inquisition. If only the final ritual spoken of by Preacher Grist can be completed. Preacher Grist must be rescued, or can his loss serve a greater cause? Mature players only.

Savage Worlds
Murder at Sector 47

Savage Worlds (Con Jr.)
Kings and Kittens
A tutorial game for kids looking to learn how to play a role-playing game, they’ll learn how to make a character using the Savage Worlds system, and play it in a short scenario. They’ll also learn how the set-up of a game works, and the fun that can go into building your character. A great game for budding gamers, the kids will determine the setting and scenario themselves.

Savage Worlds Horror
The Lonely DJ
Your night class at the local college has been a bore. That is until you and a few classmates found a new radio station, along with its eccentric, late-night DJ. You and others hang out after class listening to him spin the vinyl, take requests, and rant against everything under the stars. It's a very welcome distraction! That is, until he requests a violent show of support. There has already been a few odd deaths and now the DJ threatens that you are either with him or against him. Somehow, you know that keeping the radio off just isn't going to work... Maximum number of players: 6, Mature, 13+

Savage Worlds Space 1889a
The Kaiser’s Request
Edison invented the Ether propeller which launched mankind to the planets. On Mars the European colonial powers found the anti-gravity liftwood and a civilization ripe for conquest. The German’s have sent the ‘private’ citizen Oberst Fuekes to the colony Syrtis Major to harass the Anglo interests there. But Fuekes has gone rogue and is becoming an embarrassing liability. The German’s have limited capabilities on Mars, so the Kaiser has asked help of the only power he doesn't fear: the Americans. The players will take the role of very independent American troubleshooters on Mars in 1889. Beginner, rules taught, veteran characters provided or bring your own. (Scenario based on a concept and research by Tom Higgins.)

Savage Worlds Darwin’s World
What’s Right in Dysyte?
The Twisted Earth is a wasteland losing what little life it has left. The Ancients squandered paradise ten or a hundred generations ago. No one can remember. Small human and mutant communities overhang oblivion by their fingernails, easy targets for raiders. For some reason the small community of Dysyte has more breeder success than the settlements surrounding it. Enough children are being born to actually grow the community. The raiding Gillettes have taken notice and know that there those in Darwin’s World who will pay for Dysyte’s genetic material. The locals and their children will make a low risk high return slaver operation. Too bad Kernel Davies and his 3D’s have taken notice of the Gillettes. “What’s Right in Dysyte” is a Savage Worlds Magnificent Seven meets Road Warrior action adventure in the post-apocalyptic world of Twisted Earth. Beginner, rules taught, veteran characters provided or bring your own.

Savaged CthulhuTech
Ice Station Sulfur
Its 2085, the stars are right, the Mythos return, and the Migou have invaded. Humanity is barely holding one third of the planet while the Cults and the alien fungi claw for the rest. But the insignificant talking apes managed to stumble onto archanotech before the crisis and they are not going quietly. This is the Cthulhu setting where Mythos meet mechs, humans only lose most of the time, and the denizens of the Old Ones have learned that not all monsters are alien. Something Migou went down near Khabarovsk and they are being very slow to get it back. A human combined arms strike team is in range and is going to be risked to find out what the hell is going on in Siberia. The players will take the roll of the strike team either as mech pilots or as Tager enhanced humans. Beginner, rules taught, veteran characters will be provided.

Savage Worlds Fantasy
A Fist Full of Red Tape
Fighter: “This is the path you picked?!?”
Elf: “Everyone knows there are no orks in Aspen pass!”
Dwarf: “I guess that green horde two minutes behind us didn’t get the scroll.”
Thief: “Stuff it beardy! We wouldn’t be in this slew if you could cheat competently at dice.”
Mage: “They’re gaining and I’m about out of juice….no, they’ve stopped…”
Cleric: “Something’s wrong….okay, more wrong than our usual totally catastrophically wrong…”
Let’s see if Fantasy can still be fun with the right attitude. Beginner, rules taught, veteran characters will be provided or bring your own.

Savage Worlds (Con Jr.)
Kung Fu Panda: Stem the Tide
Po! Tigress! Viper! Crane! Mantis! Monkey! Names of legend throughout the land! A turtle who claims to be Oogway's nephew arrives from the rich jungle lands of the South, pleading with Po and The Furious Five to stem an impending invasion by Ganyan the Cassowary and his horde of Tasmanian Devils. What seems straightforward becomes more complicated as the villagers don't want the heroes to save them, as they feel they can do it themselves!

That sounds frickin' awesome!

So glad to see someone else running some Savage Darwin's World. I know that Chris Davis (RPGObjects owner) tried Savage Worlds for the first time this summer and plans to run his future Darwin's World games using SW.

I also plan on running another Darwin's World convention adventure at GottaCon 2013, Feb 1-3, in Victoria, B.C. Canada

15 tables, at least 6 players per table on SSN.

The session before had 10 tables and they had to open up the walls to pack everyone in.

Savage Mommy and Scott did an awesome job.

What an amazing weekend at Genghis con. 15 tables for Savage Saturday night. OH, what a night! I played in some great games. All the games I ran went fantastic.

My favorite game I played in was run by my friend John. He based the entire game off the poem "The Land of Counterpane" by Robert Louis Stevenson. We all got to play parts of a child's imagination. It was awesome.

Thanks to all the Savages who ran games! Without all of you, it would not happen.
