I went to http://www.savageheroes.com/conversions.htm and downloaded all of the Star Wars conversions they had and kinda made my own version up.
To be honest they are all very similar and for something like simple Clone Troopers you are really just making up some armor and their blaster carbines or any other weapons you want to give them. You don't have to mess with Force powers or anything.
Initially I was going to include a Jedi sort of as the leader of the group kind of like in the Clone Wars cartoon. If you've ever watched that even a Jedi Padawan seems to be a leader of the Clone Troopers. But, the Jedi I stated out seemed a bit to powerful for what I had in mind. I wanted the feel of the movie Aliens with a Star Wars dressing. Grunt soldiers against these incredibly bad @ss creatures! So the Jedi was taken out.
I only had 4 Clone Trooper characters to pick from for my four players (one player showed up at the last minute so I threw together a Medic character for her in like 5 minutes...man I love Savage Worlds because you can do that sorta thing in a quickness!)
The four characters I made were the Medic, the Commander, the Special ops guy, and the Engineer (aka the demolitions guy). If I was to flesh this out for more players I would make a Flametrooper, a Heavy Weapons guy, a hand-to-hand specialist...the list could go on.
Check out the list the have here...
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Clone_trooper
And whats so cool about Savage Worlds is that you can make a base Clone Trooper and just add some skills and equipment to one and now he's a Flame Trooper or a Heavy Weapons guy or the Medic. And with Hindrances they could all have different personalities despite looking like one another. _________________ -DHRDawg

That's a good idea. I want to add some drool coming out of their mouths like in the movies. Maybe some glue from a hot glue glue strung out would be good. _________________ -DHRDawg

Must have been great fun I'm starting a SW game too, perhaps I might add aliens to some scenario... I got some moderately cheaply (though ones having worst poses). _________________

Oh so if you want something like star wars and Alien
In my novel JEDI CHICKS one of the first places the JC go after escaping the pirate planet with a JEDI Squire is a old republic rescue station on the dark side of Ryloth the Twi lek planet.
They get there and find that a group of slavers led by space pimp Dak Maddy are using the old base as a holding and collection center for girls they tricked into hiring on to space ships for work and adventure but they plan to sell them on the slave market.
And then a cargo ship full of weapons arrives to trade for the girls but half the crew of the cargo ship including Ebon Okief who is Platt's nerdy sister thought they were smuggling weapons to the rebels
And then Ryloth Senitor Scarr-Lett ("Boy i was bitch slapping space pimps before you were born") arrives with her daughters Rose-Lett (with gravity hammer) and Vio-Lett (with ripper sword) looking for her kidnapped grand daughter Pinky
And now with the 2 or 3 sided mexooine standoff begins the slaying of people in the base by something that was hidden and nesting in the basement. Something smart and fierce with many tentacles
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lylek
The hunt begins in the abbandoed station and it is like the search in the space ship in Alien and the hunt in the tunnels under the base in Aliens and the mines in Alien 3
And Pinky is lost in the semi flooded basement alone except with the head of her DATA Doll Mrs P.I.P.

Hey, VonDan. Are you still working on your "Hot Egg-Laying Chicks of Barsoom" book? Still going to try to get Jordan to illustrate it?

No I scraped the tie in with Barsoom part and now it is called "Leather Princess of Mars" and is one setting in my Pulo Star 3000 setting with Jane Astro. Storn might do the cover but Jordon is gonna do the minies and set pieces for the interior 3D Photo _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |
