In the Gear section Damage for the Whip is listed as Str+1, is this intended or a typo? In other settings it is usally Str+D4.
The Damage for the Throwing Axe is listed as Str, I asume it should be Str+D6. Am I right ?

Axe damage is a known typo.
Whip is correct. It is a very light weapon, only dealing Str+1 damage (usually in fact is used on unarmored targets).
