[SPC] Altered Form and Attack, Melee: Reach

Suppose a character has these powers:

Altered Form (Malleable Skin and Bones): More Elastic 8; Reach +9

Attack, Melee (Elastic Limbs): Str+2d6

Am I correct in thinking that his +2d6 melee attack has a reach of 0 only, and he doesn't get that extra damage when making an unarmed attack at Reach with his Altered Form?

Not unless it's been taken as Switchable or that's a specific effect of the trappings.

Altered Form provides Reach which affects all melee attacks. And Attack, Melee affects all melee attacks, so both would apply. So the character could make an attack up to 9" away for Str+2d6 damage.
