Hello guys I am GMing a game but me and my players are relatively new to savage worlds so we had some simple questions about the rules. We are using the Hell-frost setting with the Explorers Guide rule book.
Is there a way to scale down gear weight for smaller characters, such as armor to fit a Engro/halfing sized character. Example being a chain hauberk that normally weighs 20 pounds. Would this weight be reduced for a small character?
Another question is about characters using bennies to recover from the shaken effect. In our last games an NPC attacked a PC shaking him and causing 2 wounds. He spent a benny to remove the shaken effect, it was accepted however does spending the benny also negate the wounds as well as the shaken effects?
One last question; Are wild cards the only characters in the game
that have 3 wounds? I remember reading that most NPCs should only have one would but what is the standard in which to judge which get more wounds?
Thanks you guys foe taking the time to read this questions. We are new Savage Worlds gamers and really enjoy the system. It is quickly becoming my go to system as far as gaming I am just new and need some clarification from more experienced players.

It's possible but not part of the core rules, so it would be a house or Setting Rule. Note however that a racial drawback reducing a Small character's Strength or Load Limit would be less of a Hindrance if their gear was reduced in weight as well.

To reduce wounds would require using the Benny to make a Soak roll as per the core rules. Spending a Benny to automatically remove a Shaken only removes the Shaken.

Wild Cards have 3 wounds and Extras are Incapacitated it they take a single wound. That's the only differentiation between characters in the system.
SW Deluxe goes into a bit more detail on which would be which on pg. 62 and 126 (for GMs), but in short, important characters are Wild Cards and unimportant ones are Extras. _________________ Clint Black
