I couldn't find this the first time I played DL (Revised) and I still can't find it. When awarding chips, do you take them from the chip pot? Do you add extras to the chip pot? Or do you add new fate chips and hand them directly to the players?

Also, when does the posse draw chips? JUST at the start of each session?

Yes, you take the chips from the chip pot (which means there's a limited amount of chips that can be awarded).

You can award new chips to the PCs whenever you award new bennies in any other SW setting. I generally award chips for humor (a joke which gets the whole table chuckling), good roleplaying, characters having to deal with their hindrances, and when characters do things that are just awesome.

Summary: Chips come from the pot. Only Legend chips get added to the pot. If you run out of chips then people need to spend them faster. Cool

Players draw whenever the Marshal lets them (beginning of the session is the minimum); the Marshal can give rewards specifically, at random, or allow draws from the pot.
