The other day on the way to work I got me a neat giant butcher knife at the thrift store for $6. It was all rusty but a friend ran it over a wire wheel.

Later that day I took my lunch nap at work

I dreamed I was being chased down a dark urban noir ally full of shadows and steam by girls in little house on the prairie outfits who looked deceptively adorable and innocent except they all carried rusty old giant butcher knives, hooks and cleavers. They were obviously cannibals and sang spells in the form of Appalachian Ballads. There names were Barbara Allen, Pretty Saro, Matty Groves, Little Sparrow and back in there cabin was Lady Randal. As they got closer they had the faces of the girls in the Elegant Gothic Loita club from the anime con (yes Siting Duck the same girls for whom the CYBER CHICKS setting was created), they looked like the EGL club but with sharp teeth and Lady Randal was played by Emmy Lou Harris channeling Margo Kidder from the TV show Amazon

Some how I knew there group was called "The Hin" short for people of the Hinge and were the remains of a pre celtic cult who wee there at the building of stone hinge

I'm thinking the HOE Witch AB but they all have the spell Focus of Appalachian Ballad and Addiction to Human Flesh

Sounds creepy! Planning to make this a one-shot or part of some campaign? Does it really read 'Bates national rule' in the ruler? Fits the theme too Very Happy

Yeah it was one of the most creepy dreams I have had

I should make some sort of encounter with it. I wonder if it is to dark for my kids adventure series savage rascals. It is educational about folk music and food preparation in pioneer days.

And yes the rules is from Bates I don't know any thing about the company but I have found 6 of them in various sizes in 99 cent back to school bags at thrift stores
