|
|
A number of the ranges in the weapons list on pages 62 and 63 look rather odd in my copy of the Solomon Kane corebook.
Under improvised weapons on p. 62:
small 6/3/2012?
medium 4/2/2008?
large -
Under ranged weapons on p. 63:
Axe, throwing 6/3/2012?
Bow 12/24/48
Crossbow 15/30/60
Harpoon 6/3/2012?
Knife/Dagger 6/3/2012?
Sling 8/4/2016?
Spear 6/3/2012?
Are there errata for these values available somewhere? _________________ RPGbericht (Dutch) |

Improvised Weapon
Small 3/6/12 (no misprints in my copy)
Medium 2/4/8
As you might notice each range category doubles the former one.
Axe, throwing 3/6/12 (i have the same misprint like you here)
Harpoon 3/6/12 (no misprints in my copy)
Knife/Dagger 3/6/12
Sling 4/8/16
Spear 3/6/12
I know, that the Solomon Kane comes with its own set of core rules, but it might help you to get the regular set of core rules too. For only about $10 its a great investment, even if you have tune some rules down to fit them into the SK setting. _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who know binary and those who don't. |

Yeah, well, I figured I'd start with SK to see if I like it. The game looked cool but I wasn't familiar with the rules yet. I'll probably include SW Deluxe Explorer's Edition in my next order since I also picked up the two corebooks for Deadlands.
Thanks for the corrected stats! _________________ RPGbericht (Dutch) |

Everyone has a different entry into SW. Mine was the Evernight setting and the Savage Tales adventures a decade ago.
Have fun and stay savage! _________________ There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who know binary and those who don't. |

All the errata is contained in the thread in the other products rules forum. The error you notices is the ranges being auto corrected to dates.
Also Soloman Kane predates both EE and SWD so the rules are different. |

I used the forum's search function to see if anything had already been posted about this and didn't find anything. Hence my posting it here. If it's in the wrong place the mods can of course feel free to move it. _________________ RPGbericht (Dutch) |
