So, I have a copy of the original Shaintar, and I'm wondering what's different in the newer version?

It has some elements from AoO and RoC, like the defining interests, distiguishes between villainous and heroic hindrances, is a bit more streamlined, and modernized to Deluxe, yet the same.

Since these beta rules include only the ranks up to veteran, there may be further changes in the legendary regions.

Racial Edges are a huge addition, and as stated, everything is brought up to incorporate SW Deluxe.

As well, more is done with the various martial arts (Kor-In, Kalinata, the Dregordian Kayakor).

Updated Gear material (including the new Resource Rolls system).

Unleashed, the book that covers Heroic and Legendary, adds even more new material to really elevate the game at those levels.
