"Top Speed is typically half the vehicle’s operational
speed for military vehicles, or one-quarter speed for civilian
cars."
What constitues "Operational speed"?
For instance, a model T according to numerous sources has a Top Speed of 40-45mph.
The Deluxe listing is 16 for Top speed (which is roughly 10.6 miles per hour). Just curious how this was worked out. _________________ My Savage Worlds Blog

Well, as noted in the previous sentences to that one, "The Top Speed of vehicles is set for battlefields (not the open highway, where they can usually double their speed). They’re adapted to work on the table-top, which means they’re not entirely realistic but work well for the game."
So "operational speed" would be the speed for normal operation, not for combat or table-top use. Thus the top operational speed for a Model T would be about 4x what is listed for combat or about 40-45mph. _________________ Clint Black
