Are there any plans for SW or Deadlands organized play (aka Living Campaigns) in the future?
Both RPGA's Living Forgotten Realms and Paizo's Pathfinder Society dominate our local game days. There seems to be a solid interest by gamers in these types of continuing campaigns and SW's plot point campaigns seem to be a good match.
Also, any plans to take your IPs and settings into the boardgame arena?
Thank you! |

Pathfinder and D&D Dominate RP gaming in general. Most tables are occupied by D&D players at most of the LGSes around here as well. And most of those games aren't PS or LFR campaigns.
The problem with a Living campaign is the time and effort to keep the whole thing running. While an interesting idea, it might take away a lot of time from the SW devs to put out new products outside of that setup. _________________ My Blog of Random Gaming: http://www.daemonstorm.com

We don't really have the staff or expertise to do a Living Deadlands (Unliving Deadlands?). We'd like to, but we'd have to have a volunteer group of very experienced, well-known, and vetted people to do it. We wouldn't be interested in anything that might fail to start.
As for boardgames, we've given two non-exclusive license, but we're sitting on a few designs of our own we're dying to do. Look for some news on that fron late this year with a little luck...and your continued support of Kickstarter.
