I'm running my first SW game and my players have earned their first advancement. My question is, do characters have to spend their advancements when they get enough XP, or can they save them up? My concern is that some of my players may save up their first 3 advancements and then go crazy with Seasoned edges when they hit 20 xp. Thanks.

You have to use an advance when you get it. They can't be saved up.
