But what is the status on the Plot Point book for it? Is it in writing, layout, is it just a wayward though?

PEG doesn't tell us that sort of thing. Sometimes they're nice enough to tell us that they're working on it, and maybe even what subjects it is aimed towards (major villain group, general location, etc.), but they don't tell us where in the pipeline it is, or when to expect it.
