I'd like to be able to simulate something like the trailer for the newest "Assassins Creed" video game, in which the hero, once he gets going, sort of gets a "momentum" - each combat action he takes seems to set him up for an even better/quicker/etc. next combat action on a different mook, and so on and so on.
Is there anything in the Official or Licenced rules that have a mechanic for something like this? |

A combination of Edges could do that very well. Or you could invent a new Edge to simulate it.
Probably better to keep something like this an Edge, otherwise, you'll have EVERYONE, bad guys and good guys, mowing through each other in a hurry. _________________ - Brent 'thwaak' Wolke

It makes sense - not everyone (only a handful) of very trained people could do it.
SORCERER the RPG had a mechanic that each success on a roll could add to a success on a related roll, but this applied to everything. |

It seems like a lot of that could be simulated with existing edges, like Counterattack, Sweep, Frenzy, First Strike, and tactical usage of Wild Attacks and Rapid Attacks. _________________ 'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

Edge:
Combat Momentum (prereqs ?)
When you are on a roll, you rock. Each Raise on a trait check for an action, Trick test of will, fighting, shooting, throwing, spellcasting, gives you +1 to y our action trait check on the following round, if it's the same trait check.
Improved Combat Momentum
bonus can apply to any trait check |

| Yep, I think I have my answer - either the edge you describe or the use of existing edges and maneuvers would do it. |
