How do glow rods work now? Don,t see them anywhere in the book other than in Silas's write up. Looks like maybe club except in hands of a doomie, Do they still cost power points to operate ?

I expect that it would work like a club with Smite cast on it. Grab a control rod, and beat people with it (medium improvised weapon: str+d6). Turn it into a Glow Rod (invest a power point into it) and watch that damage die increase (and you can ignore the usual strength limit).
Alternately, it's a neat trick that Silas does and no one else can master. Some spiffy Bad Guy mojo that he can use.

But, that's all wild speculation.

Was curious myself, as I missed that particular (awesome) trick for the Doomies...
