I have a figure (from regular SW) that I'm converting into Showdown.

The figure has Arcane Resistance (He's a dwarf). He also rides a bear into battle.

In Showdown, can I get away with csating speed on the Mount, bypassing the arcane resistance of the rider.

I ask because of the rule that says mounted figures cannot unmount during the game.

To me, if you are counting the figure as a single model (thus he cannot dismount and if one dies they both die) then sure. All the bear is at it essence is a "item" that offers more attacks and higher speed.

Anyone else want to chime in?

That's how I'd handle it as well, just for costing balance.
