This came up in my Deadlands game at Savage Saturday Night at Origins. A Harrowed requires 1d6 hours of sleep each night, but does a Harrowed, before they go to sleep, know how long that will be (e.g. "Wow, I'm pretty tired. I think I'll need a full six hours of sleep tonight.")? Or do they conk out and then wake up some initially undetermined number of hours later?
Put a different way, is the 1d6 hours rolled before or after the Harrowed goes to sleep? This was important for determining watch cycles since it made a big difference when the Harrowed would be available, as they didn't trust him having to make the rolls to stay awake. _________________ Wild Card Creator: Any PDF. It's all about what the manitou needs, not the harrowed, so the harrowed has no idea how long he will be asleep. _________________ Clint Black
