anyone do a conversion of Patricia Briggs World of Mercy Thompson?
i tried searching the forum and couldnt find it so i figured i would ask. if noone has is there any advice for making a conversion for it since it is a world comparible to the dresden files i figured using the super powers companion would be appropriate

I might have gotten a few of those for the Princess Nerdia but never read them myself.
(standing order to get PN any romance books with a supernatural themes or a shirtless Scotsman on the cover when found for under 50 cents)
And if it is the same series I'm thinking about the author was a guest on the beautiful brains back room chat and I'm sure she would be up for a rpg setting. Lets see if Clint chimes in with confirmation

I wrote some ABs for shapeshifting and other urban fantasy tropes. Doing something like that is probably better than using the Supers rules. Never did anything for fae though - that would be a big project for Briggs' world.
My Supernaturalis rules were originally designed with urban fantasy in mind. The archetype examples include a werewolf as well as a skin-walker (not quite the same as Mercy, but enough to give you a good idea how to replicate her).
Not that it is my bag (unless PN wants me to run such a game), but it might be better to make one big group document to cover various 'urban fantasy',"Supernatural Romance" and "Supernatural intrigue" settings and not just one. My guess is most every thing you need is all ready thought out in various home brews and setting books. Maybe make a thread for all the 'urban fantasy' ideas to get started if you dont want to side track this one _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/
