| Is PEG participating in Free RPG Day this year and if so, what can we expect? |

I would imagine so. As long as I've been stalk-- err... following PEG, they have done a Free RPG Day. _________________ "I had a whole bunch of advice for you but got ninja'd by newForumNewName. I'd just do what he says." -- 77IM

According to Aldo (and the official list of participants: http://www.freerpgday.com/), Pinnacle is NOT participating this year. It's a pity, too, as I ran the Wild Hunt at my FLGS for Free RPG Day last year and it was a HUGE success! Introduced Savage Worlds to 4 new people at my table! _________________ DAVROS: ‘Tar Lubek Ka’leed, Uth Ricta Dal’ek.’ Roughly translated, it means: ‘And on that day, men will become like gods.’ (I, DAVROS: GUILT) |

I believe Pinnacle's not been on that list before and yet still participated.

Barring some secret skunkworks project of which I have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever, we're not participating in Free RPG Day this year. _________________ Joel Kinstle

I have only one thing to say:

...so it's an adventure about spies infiltrating Lockheed Martin's facilities and stealing plans/prototype/etc. for the latest top-secret spy plane or stealth fighter under development there?
...and it includes details to set it in an Agents of Oblivion game?
I wonder what the title could be? Maybe the twist is that PC's are investigators, security specialists, or agents working to fend off the attempts (covert and otherwise) of other countries or power groups, who are attempting to either infiltrate a top-secret development program, or simply steal the secrets therein.
I could see a savage espionage game along those lines...sounds really cool. Maybe the team is protecting the personnel involved (think something like the plot of "The Eraser") too... has my wheels spinning
Wow that sounds really cool jpk, I can't wait! (rofl)

My mom worked at the boeing skunk works in Seattle ...but just as a cook.
They did want to search every empty box she took home cause sixty year old women with winkled apple doll faces are suspicious _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |

| I was curious, but kept forgetting to ask. I guess I only have to track down a copy of the FRPG Day adventure for Castles and Crusades now. |

Bummer about Pinnacle not being involved, because there isn't much on the list that I'm interested in. I'm also not experienced enough with any of those to GM or even be inlvolved in the organization of an adventure; well maybe D&D or Pathfinder, but that's a stretch. I'd love to run a one page Savage Battletech adventure in place of the BattleTech RPG, but with Catalyst Labs being an official sponsor I'm thinking that would be waaaay out of line.
Just curious jpk, but why isn't Pinnacle involved - is it a time or cost thing? |

Time can be tough to come by in general, and this hasn't been the easiest year on a lot of our staff. _________________ Joel Kinstle

Well, I reckon we'll just have to buy some stuff. Woe is us.
The other possibility is that those of us who've been kicking supplements and adventures around in our heads actually put them together into some sort of cohesive form and get them out to the community. 12 days might be tough, but worth a shot.
Maybe "Commmunity RPG Day" should be its own thing. |
