(I searched the forum and didn't come across anything that looked like it answered the below.)
I'm reading over SWD carefully, and this caught my eye:
On pg 48, Minimum Strength states that a melee weapon's damage die can't be higher than a character's Strength die. The accompanying example states that a character with d4 Str and a long sword would do 2d4 damage, not d4+d8.
However, the example under Combat Ratings (pg 124, first bullet) of a character with d6 Str and a long sword uses d6+d8 damage, not 2d6.
I'm assuming this is an oversight in updating the Combat Ratings example from previous Minimum Strength incarnations, but if I'm reading the Minimum Strength rules incorrectly, please clarify them. Thanks!
