Graphics stripped or tailored for B&W screens, Unnecessary info like specific gear and bestiary removed.
Just a quick reference to rules.
Mostly for us that refuse to buy a tablet for reading books and don't want to drag a laptop to the table.

| I'd like to see something like this, though I would want it available in a Kindle friendly format. |

Colour me "interested" too. I would like to read SW on a Kindle.
(I can almost read the Explorer sized rulebook in PDF format on there, but not quite. It would be very nice to be able to change the text size on the Kindle so I read it more easily.) |

Not unless you run it through a conversion program. |

Well, not exactly. While the Kindle Fire doesn't support the ePub format natively, there are apps that will read that format. I'm using the Aldiko Book Reader one currently, and it seems to work fine. And it's free! _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

That's great for a Fire, but. I was referring to it's eink brethren. |

Fair 'nuff. I'll admit to not knowing much about the non-Fire Kindles to say whether such apps are even available for that platform. Any one else care to enlighten? _________________ "Your GM is metagaming ... and wrong!" |

The kindle e-reader doesn't support epub (because Amazon wants you to buy books from them). Every other e-reader does, but they don't support Amazon's propriety format. Still, publishing to both isn't difficult. I just wish Amazon wasn't being selfish about this.
Anyway, an ePub version of the rules would be a useful experiment, if nothing else. _________________

I'd like to see it as well. Like Enno said, if you use Calibre, you should be able to put it into MOBI just fine. _________________ When the stars themselves burn out three things will continue kicking a**: Faith, Hope and Love.

Agreed, provided that there is no DRM on it. |
