Bluff checks? what do i use?

so....what stat do I use if I want someone to try and lie to someone. I know in other systems there is the Bluff or somethign like that. Not sure what I use here.

so far i have been making Persuasion checks that are opposed by smarts.

Persuasion is the skill to convice others which would include lying even if you are only trying to convince them you are telling the truth. But Notice is specifically the skill to determine if someone is lying, so Persuasion vs. Notice would be more appropriate.
