But the mouth isn't the nerve cluster (though it is required to reach that). Also, the majority of their rounds struck it on the hide 0 and there was an implication that the accumulated small wounds contributed significantly to creature's demise.

But, yeah, they did have a couple of heavy weapons in that arsenal. And I'm sure those bombs counted as such. #gunbattle

i was reading the monsters in the books and i read the part on "Rattlers" and it made me remember me of my childehood favorit monster movie Tremers and how fun it would be to have the first movie seting happen to my heroes. now i guess my question is could new heroes kill a Rattler?

My posse killed an aquatic one by rigging the ghost-rock boiler in their boat to overheat, then jumping ship as it raced across the Great Salt Lake. The Rattler went after the big rumbly thing and caught it in its maw. Shortly thereafter they were showered in shards of metal and bits of Rattler. Pretty good way to close that chapter of the chronicle, I thought.

Just like in the film - ex-mining town in a valley.

Of course, that does beg the question: where did the rattlers come from? Sure, we already ask that question, but this time I mean geographically, not cosmologically. Very Happy
