Let's say a Blessed character is casting Barrier. The primary limitation of this spell is how many power points you want to sink into it, but the Blessed don't use PP. Any suggestions on how to work this sort of thing?

There is no limit. The Blessed could make a wall 100' long and 50' thick if he succeeds on the roll, though he can't make the duration last longer than 3 turns without a Raise.

We had this exact discussion in my TT game. This is one reason Blessed don't get Bolt. It makes the Blessed very strong (able to use Boost to pump everyone in the party at once, Blind in a LBT, etc. at will tends to be), which is why you need to keep the Sinnin' Table and the "rolling a 1 on the Faith Die results in a crisis of faith" rules very closely.

If unlimited power makes you leery, you can limit powers to their minimum effects on a success, or else count extras added to a power as -1 to the roll per extra power point that would otherwise be spent.

When the blessed does something that is capital-G Good, give his arcane roll a bonus. Maybe he gets a +2 on the roll, maybe he gets +25 rounds of duration, maybe he gets +150 yards of wall length - regardless, it is a benefit that showcases divine approval of the chosen request.

When the blessed asks for something that is just evil, give him a Sin instead of his requested miracle. Major or Mortal depends upon just how terrible the effect will be, but do remember the classic mortal sins - Pride being one of the deadliest, and one of the most common for Player Characters to engage in.
