I'm in the planning stages for a "Shadows of Gotham City" campaign using Agents of Oblivion. Can anyone recommend some good resources for running a campaign in Batman's stomping ground? General DC universe sources would be helpful, too.

I used the Gotham City wiki when I was contemplating the same thing.

That, and reading a load of Batman comics. Wink

Hudson City: The Urban Abyss book for the Dark Champions setting from Herogames could be a big help as well. If nothing else, it can assist with changing thing things up to make your Gotham City a bit more unique.

Consider non-Gotham sources as well...any setting that gives you contextual stuff for Urban adventures is good. Daring Entertainment's Tales of the Sprawl are excellent (all though they are geared for Cyberpunkish adventures), we have our Wellstone City setting, and there's a few other licensees that specialize in Urban adventures.

Once you get the flavors and nuances of Gotham down, these other adventures and source materials can be incredible at filling in the gaps and making the setting live and breathe a little more.

There's the fantastic Batman: The Animated Series Writer's Bible which is as good of a sourcebook as anything to the Batman universe. It's got character summaries, episode ideas, and other great stuff for creating adventures.
