Hi. my new team with whom I play Savage Worlds really wanted to play in a setting in prehistoric times. You know maybe some one or some materials that will help me in this session? I saw that he had formed Stone & Stick setting but so far I think it did not work out.

If you'd like to avoid the caveman stereotypes you might want to look into CORPS Dreamtime. It has this cool Australian Aboriginal-esque worldview type vibe and seems to have simple enough rules to be converted to Savage Worlds.[/url]

Crafty Games (they make Fantasy Craft) has a Stone Age setting in their product Adventure Companion: http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?cPath=&products_id=85395&affiliate_id=71282

It is not hugely detailed but has some neat ideas.

As I recall Sticks and Stones was a skirmish setting; you could probably use it to base an rpg.

What sorts of material are you looking for?

I ask because it seems that your major bases are already covered by the core. That is to say, I don't think that prehistoric settings add much in the way of technology, powers, creatures, etc. I'd think you'd remove things from the list...

Also SW is pretty modular to start with, so it isn't like you're in need of classes or races, per se. Not that you couldn't have some, and that would be cool.... Hmm...

Anyway, you might look at doing some other type of research, and then applying what you know about SW to that.

It has stone and Bronze Age weapons and tech plus dinosaurs
