Just to clarify with your interpretation of the deluxe rules, if you miss your target due to somebody standing in the line of fire providing cover, both characters are actually hit? With the original target getting an armor bonus equal to the toughness of the character that provided cover?
So it's kind of like the bullet is a through and through for the first guy before hitting the second guy. Very interesting!

It's possible, but of course, it's also up to the GM and the situation. Bullets might go through but an arrow might never. Common sense always trumps anything pretending to be an "overarching" rule. _________________ Clint Black
