A few questions about mounts came up in a recent game.
1. Do a rider and a trained mount give each other a gang-up bonus? I'm pretty sure this one is "yes," since they are both adjacent to their opponent.
2. If a rider attacks and has his trained mount attack in the same round, is there an MAP? I would say no, since I figure the book would say so in the section on "Trained Horses."
3. If a trained mount loses its rider, would it continue fighting or just run off? If it remains to fight, with Smarts d4 (A) could it even differentiate friend from foe without direction from its rider? _________________ 'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here.'

Nope, they are separate characters with separate actions.

There's no set answer here though it would be unlikely that a trained mount would be continue to fight without its rider barring the influence of an Edge like Beast Bond or Beast Master. _________________ Clint Black
