A Nation Divided!
Crime Rampant!

It’s 1936, and America is a land in trouble. The Union is shattered, criminals control many cities, and violence is a way of life. Every day, federal agents from America’s rival nations battle it out against vicious criminal gangs for control of the streets using armored cars, weird science, and excessive firepower.

It’s Good Guys vs. Bad Guys. Which side are you on?

Inside this product you’ll find:
* A history of a divided America.
* Complete setting rules for running urban battles.
* A custom Freak Events Table.
* Scenarios and Ace Tales ready to play off the page.
* Stats for Common Troops, six Good Guy Factions (including the Bureau of Vehicular Crime, Canadian Mounties, and Rocket Rangers), six Bad Guy Factions (including the Chickago Bunnies, Doctor Destructo, and Seven Dragon Brotherhood), and three Neutral Factions.
* Stats for a range of armored and armed vehicles.
* Complete set of unit cards designed for easy reference and play.

G-Men & Gangsters: The Gang Wars is a Savage Showdown setting. This product does not contain the Showdown rules (which are available here).

Is there any chance of this becoming a full Savage Worlds setting at some point in the future.?

There's always a chance. How well the Showdown version does will play a part in any future decision.

Halfway through reading and love it. Couple things...

1.) The references to page number are still XXX.

2.) Will there be figure flats, especially for the vehicles?

Thanks!

Bad Rob! Drop him an e-mail.

Vehicle flats will be out next week as flat flats, not ones you assemble (helps when loading passengers). No plans for figure flats. Our DTA pack has many useful minis, but otherwise we're recommending Bob Murch's Pulp Miniatures, without which the setting probably wouldn't exist.

I dont really understand the thinking of TAG. Wink

I mean, you have Necropolis, a setting that SCREAMS Showdown.
And then you have a this new setting that screams RPG, but is a Showdown game.

I guess its mainly because Necropolis is a old setting, and G-M&G (?) is quicker to produce as Shwodwon (only 55 pages to write instead of 100+as rpg-book).
But somehow I find it...strange. Wink

only 55 pages for 15 bucks? No offense but that sounds like a ripoff to me.

Actually, G-Men was quicker to produce. Necropolis has a lot of oddities in Showdown terms.

We put a lot of effort, time, and money into our products. There's no reason we should cut our throats or those of our artists to give you hundreds of hours of gaming play for a bag of nuts. And please don't assume page count actually means anything in terms of actual content -- we use a small paragraph font and we cram a lot in.

Ugh Wiggy those figures look great but they are unpainted. I have four kids and all of my patience goes between them and work. Painting little figures just ain't gonna happen. Very Happy

I don't think I've ever purchased a single product from Triple Ace Games and felt like I was cheated or ripped off. These are some stand-up-guys, and if they felt the product is worth 15 bucks, then I trust their judgement.

15 dollars for a a product that is going to provide countless of hours of entertainment is a steal these days. 15 bucks barely gets you into a movie theater or buys a decent meal at a restaurant that doesn't have a drive-thru.

I'll second that. I've bought lots of digital stuff over the years and paid too much for lots of stuff I'd never use. The thing about the TAG stuff is that it gets USED! And 15 bucks for something I'll use isn't too much in my book. Admittedly, I don't do the Showdown stuff otherwise I'd jump on it. But I've never had buyers remorse after buying a TAG product - if anything, I've felt like I got a really good deal!

My Apologize. I guess my wording was very abusive and for this I am sorry. I am not use to having a good game be packed into such a tight space. I could offer excuses about me being on limited income and the like, but those would seem lame, as they are. I guess I am use to seeing more pages for more money and not something made to purpose with what I assume is little to no filler and fluff. If I am wrong about this I apologize again, this time from ignorance.
