As a relatively inexperienced SW GM I must say that I love the new combat ratings system.
However I have a few questions.

1. Am I correct in assuming that if a critter is not a wildcard the combat rating is halved like it would be for a non wildcard npc?

2. When figuring a combat rating for a critter that has the size trait, does this also get added to the rating? I ask because size adds to the damage resistance of the critter and the combat rating already takes damage resistance into account. Just seems like double dipping to me.

3. Armor is counted as damage resistance for the calculation correct?

4. Should combat disadvantages, like say, vulnerable to silver, be taken into account by lowering the combat rating?

Thanks

Critters are "characters" too, so if not a Wild Card, they are halved.

Nope, it's already integral to their Toughness.

Yep.

The system is just a baseline and as noted, "make sure to also think about additional advantages either side might have (such as traps, support, powerful magic items, or favorable terrain)."

That would fall under one of the additional advantages that would be situational (vulnerable to silver has little effect if the group has no silver, but conversely if the group had no silver and the creature has Invulnerability except to silver, it would have a huge effect).
