My players have divergent opinions regarding Incapacitation. I was hoping you could clear some of them up.

1) It says on page 68 of SWD that Incapacitated characters "may not perform actions and are not deal Action Cards in combat." However, if I understand the rules correctly, they can still move, since normal movement is a free action (though they would be at -1 Pace per wound). If they can move, then how does one determine when they move in the action sequence if they are not dealt any Action Cards?

2) Under the description of Succor on page 117 it says: "Succor may be used to restore consciousness to those who have been Incapacitated due to wounds." Does this mean it can remove someone's Incapacitated status? For that matter, how would a character become unconscious as a result of being Incapacitated? I see no result on page 68 under Incapacitation that results in unconsciousness. In fact, it seems pretty much impossible to knock a Wild Card unconscious.

An Incapacitated character "may not perform actions," and free actions are still a type of action. Incapacitated characters may not perform any action, and thus do not get an Action Card since they can't do anything.

Nonlethal Damage (pg. 74) specifically knocks a character unconscious instead of the normal Incapacitation result, and Succor can remove that effect (but not "normal" Incapacitation).
