Just picked up the WWII setting book. Since the SWD came out after it, which rules should I use for air dogfights?

Planning on running a short pilot's campaign.

I realize the "technical" answer may be "Use either one you like", but I was wanting some opinion on which set of chase rules to use.

The SWD look to have a more Dogfight feel to them than the original (to me, anyway). However, you would need to think about some of the other items like how to pull fighters away from bombers.

It really does come down to using whichever set of rules works best for the group, which of course is up to personal preferences. Both work, they just work differently.

I just ran a car chase this past weekend using the SWD rules for the first time, and I have to say that I think they would work great for WWII dogfights. If what you are going for is a more cinematic feel versus simulation, they would perfect.
