Can the roll of 1 that triggers the Innocent Bystander rule be negated by a Wild Card's extra d6 (and vice versa)? My interpretation of the rules it that it can, but then it seems like the chances of ever hitting another allie in combat is so low you wouldn't ever need to worry about it.
Edit: Reading it through again I now have a different interpretation. I would need to get a miss on both dice, but the miss on the Wild Die can be any number, but the miss on the Shooting die is 1? That sounds more likely to occur.

That's it. Don't have to roll a 1 on the Wild Die, any miss will do. That means it's more likely to hit an Innocent Bystander when range, cover, darkness, etc. are in play.
Also note, it is a rule for dramatic purposes, not every shot. _________________ Clint Black
