For those going to Origins this year, I hope you all have fun. I can only make it to GenCon this year but I'm kinda sorry I can't get to Origins as well; I had a great time there last year. _________________ Ejector seat? You're joking!

Ermm...ahh...hmm...yeah, right...let me see
Honestly can't remember Roy. I do recall finding it very confusing last year All I can suggest is you keep a close eye on the website and wait for new announcements. You may also find that more info will be made available to you once you've registered for the convention.
I'm sure there are many on this forum who can give you good advice; sorry I can't be of more help _________________ Ejector seat? You're joking!

| No biggee. I was hoping that when I was buying the badge I would be able to see the game availability at the same time. Still not sure if we can make Origins but I might be pushed over the edge if there were a lot of games I could get into. |

One thing I would recommend is, if you go, try and get in a game run by Tom Prevendoski. I see he's planning to run a couple of games for Savage Worlds.
I took part in a Serenity game that he ran at Origins last year. I can honestly say it was one of the best games I've been in; great story, excellent GMing and a great bunch of players. I don't normally make recommendations for fear of them backfiring in my face but that game still resonates with me now! _________________ Ejector seat? You're joking!

I am 99% sure you must be registered for the con to register for events. I don't think it'll let you reserve a spot in a session if you don't have a con registration.
Question on Savage Saturday Night for Origins this year!
Last year I attended and had a blast. I had preregged up and gotten a ticket, but was told they weren't supposed to charge me for the event. This year, I see that the event is split up among a bunch of different events and each one is listed as being $4. I was curious if they were supposed to be charging this year, and how flexible the event was going to be. IE can I just show up or do I need to register. |

Is event registration open yet? I registered with the con and see the event signup docs but can't find instructions on how to actually sign up for the games. Their web interface does suck pretty badly though...

Hey Chaos, Evil, or other past Origins GMs,
Do you remember how much space there is on those round tables they use for the RPG games? I'm prepping a map for the Savage Serenity game I'm running and I want to make it the best size, leaving room for players to have their sheets, dice, drink around it.
Evil, how big of a footprint was that awesome pyramid you used last year?

As far as I'm aware, they haven't opened event registration yet, or announced when it will be opening. Hopefully soon, but with warning. |

Hey gang.
Getting ready to sign up for Origins!
There is still a SSN game event# 6698 Savage Saturday Night: Talk is Cheap, but Bullets are Cheaper that has 8:00AM instead of 8:00PM. I'd love to play in this game but I'm hesitant to sign up for it with the wrong time slot. Especially since there is another game at 8:00AM on Saturday that I want to sign up for and I'm sure the events list won't let me sign up for both at that time slot.
Anyone know the GM? Rory G. MacLeod.
Thanks!
Edit: And it's been fixed! I'm in the game. _________________ Norm "No Relation" Hensley |

Rory is a new Savage in our group here in Columbus.
And to the rest of you: Get your butt over and sign up for 6875 Savage Saturday Night: Savage Hommlet, that is unless you're scared to get your butt kicked by "Pretty Boy" Lareth. _________________ I call Shinanigans! |

Thunderforge and I will both be there, as will my wife and many of our friends.
Thunderforge is actually running a one-shot version of Night Train at Savage Saturday Night. I'm going to try to swing by, myself, but I have another engagement in a Gnobbit's dungeon that evening... _________________ Victory! Now the real work begins! http://kck.st/V8ecTS |

| The event grid went live yesterday. Checked my events and they are already sold out: both my Savage Saturday Night - Rocketeers to the Rescue and my Temple of the Warriors - Savage Showdown event. Plus the other games I'm running and it looks like it will be a good con. |

Ah, the best-laid plans of mice and Big Bugs...
I'm afraid I'm out of the con scene for 2012. But I'll be here toiling away, creating more books to be bought at cons. _________________ Matthew Cutter

| Will anyone be running any non official con games? This will be my first Origins con (i'll be carpooling with Count Zero, but don't let that scare you away) I'd love to try some showdown. |
