Wow. Now that's a cover for 50 Fathoms I like! I kinda miss the ol' skull-with-an-eyepatch, but the new cover is just... "Woah! That's not a wave, it's a tentacle!" and "Hey, is that blood in the water?". Tres cool. _________________ "Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science!" - Agatha Heterodyne

Yes. So much better than the illustration on the website before. Those green lumpy islands were jarring...
But the new cover is awesome. The gold ship logo and the blood in the water...Yeah! Thanks, Shane!

And just think of the lapel pin you could make based on that ship design... Hm!

A 50 Fathoms logo beltbuckle would be cool.

I'm going to go against the grain, and say its a brutal cover. Not as bad as that first teaser pic a month or so ago. But yeeeesh.
What ever happened to that fantastic B&W illo of the pirate Skull over the crossed sword and Pistol. That image in colour would have made a fantastic Cover image on a Black or BloodRed background. _________________ " Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap!" |

It's still in the book and graces the credits page. _________________ - Brent 'thwaak' Wolke

I gotta say, I really dig the cover. Its a lot more subtle than I was expecting based on previous teaser pics but it looks much more professional. It'll stand out on a store shelf as well. It'd definitely catch my eye and get me to read the back cover. _________________ I'm not an adversarial GM. I am a facilitator of awesomeness. - Dr Rotwang |

But still, I would love to see a nice highres/largish scan of your pirut heed. Then I can print it out and past it on the cover of my 50 Fathoms. _________________ " Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap!" |

I'm afraid if someone did one of these here in Oklahoma it'd be as big as my head... those giant buckles seem to be popular with a certain crowd... _________________ Butch Curry

| I have to say the actual cover looks like something that would catch my eye in the game store. Very Nice. The teaser cover was very odd to be kind. I couldn't really tell much from the teaser cover, but the art work looked like something someone would draw sitting in the back row during a highschool class. It was quite stunning to see, when you consider that most of Pinnacle's Art work it some of the best in the gaming industry. I'm so gladthat wasn't the actual cover. |

Arrgh!
The teaser artwork was never the cover! It's just art from the book. While I agree as a cover, it wasn't my first choice; in the book, it works perfectly. _________________ Clint Black
