So i bought a pdf from rpgnow called Smart-Lights the basic premise that in the future people can install dormant pre-programed photon based programs into their brains and these programs can allow people to effect the enviroment in certain ways from forming a energy shield around the user to causing feedback in an enemy's brain.

So i thought why not bring this concept to savage worlds.
no mechanics or fluff yet just brainstorming at the moment.

I dont want to replicate the supplement i am just trying to capture a similar feel and style.

My inital thoughts are to set the total amount of Apps a person can load into their brains maybe 1/2 thier smarts die.

Another thing i am hammering out is if they need some sort of core processor to use these programs. That way i can have different types ranging from the civilian to law-enforcement and military versions.

So any thoughts would be helpful

You could have the different types require a different type of core processor, represented by pre-requisite edges...

that is one of my options but not sure maybe retrap magic and then have edges to allow them gain mil-spec programs

Linking total number of apps to smart die makes smarts really good. Just something to be aware of.

the main reason i considered that option is that the holo-programs are stored in a neural net in side the brain
