Situation Clarification Help.
Scenario: PC is charging to get to a spellcaster who is behind a wall of guards (who are extras). He's 3" from the guards when the guards go. The guards are grouped on the same initiative card. Can each guard move up and hold their attack until all 4 are in position so as to each get the +4 gang up, or must each move/attack and slowly build up to the +4?
If the guards each have their own initiative card, can they hold until the slowest goes and then rush the PC as above, or do I have to mess w/ the agility roll for each to see which guard goes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th? _________________ There is no problem in this Universe that can't be solved with the application of roasted porcine flesh...

They act on the same action card, so their actions are pretty much simultaneous. Meaning they would all get the bonus.

If they have their own initiative card, then they are important enough to have individual actions with the opportunity to benefit from tiered actions and the consequences as well.
Meaning neither is really necessary, just have them act in their order of their cards. The first won't get Gang Up, the second gets +1, the third +2, and so on. Of course, if one of those attacks takes the target out, then the others aren't tied to a simultaneous action and can do something else.
That said, if they are allies and they all want to wait to act simultaneously, then they would just go on Hold and wait for that moment. No roll is necessary since they aren't "interrupting" the others' actions, just acting at the same time. _________________ Clint Black
