SWD gave us something of revised guidelines for random encounters, taking the other half of the Dramatic Interlude rules from Zombie Run and encouraging GMs to run with it. I've been fiddling around with creating random encounters for my Solomon Kane game and am curious as to what, if anything, the rest of you GMs have been putting together out there.

Well, it's no secret I've been working on my 1,000 + Random Encounters for Deadlands, I also have the DL Price List, and a Name Generator. All can be found on Savagepedia. _________________ Proud co-creator of the 1,000+ Random Encounter Generator found here!

1,000+?!?! talk about ambitious. And here I get hung up doing a simple assortment for mountains.
Which is kinda why I wanted to put this out there. Under the guidelines in SWD, you are talking about 4 encounters per type, or 16 total. Which isn't much unless you are painting with broad strokes. For instance, you could have a "hazard" entry under Obstacle or Enemies, but there isn't room for uch granulation there unless you follow up with a sort of "hazard suitable" subtable.
Which, again, is why I'm curious how differed folks are doing it.
