So I bought the SwD and it is my first savage book. I'm wondering how much of the Companions are covered in the deluxe version. Also if they are still usable with the deluxe book or are they going to be updated to reflect any changes in that book? Any and all thoughts or opinions of those that own them will be appreciated.

Most of the new powers in the Fantasy Companion made it in, as well as the race creation guidelines. However, there's a huge wealth of other information (including magic items, monsters and edges) that aren't in SWD. Very little if anything from the Super Powers Companion are in there.
