What is the correct way to managed a group of player characters using Stealth?
If they all individually roll then only the worsted roll matters, and in a party with a character with bad stealth they will always be noticed (well a lot of the time).
NPC groups get to do a Group Roll for Stealth, well that would not work for PCs.
You could do a Coop Roll but that does not work as the best characters results could just get better and the party will never be noticed.
IRL good stealth people can help bad by pathfinding and clearing.

Well, that's pretty much how it works, and yeah, if the situation is everyone trying to sneak together (as opposed to just sending the people who are actually good at it), then usually it is the one person who gives everyone else away.

To be clear, Extras can make a Group Roll for Stealth (out of combat). Wild Card NPCs would still make their own individual rolls like the players.

Cooperative rolls work to assist one character in an action; it would not help a group of individual characters perform an action at the same time.
In the above, the GM might apply a situational bonus if one character moves ahead and makes the path clear for those behind him, but it would of course slow down movement. An ability that innately provides such a bonus could potentially be adapted as an Edge where one stealthy character can provide a bonus to a limited number of companions.
But just by the basic rules, all the Wild Cards are making their own Stealth rolls. _________________ Clint Black
