Thank you for the quick and informative responses.
Is there any reason to preorder the Deluxe? I am going to GenCon and I thought I saw something about being able to pick it up there. Is it only there if you preorder or does anyone know if the publisher will have extra on hand?
It is more expensive than my $10 copy, but I am sucker for these things. |

There may be Savage World Deluxe copies on-hand at GenCon for folks who didn't preorder, but all the preorder copies will be set aside (unavailable for general purchase) and any non-preorder copies are likely to sell out really quick.
In short, if you want to make sure you can pick one up at GenCon, I'd suggest you preorder a copy and elect GenCon Pickup. _________________ Joel Kinstle

| The rules for Standoffs are gone. Is this on purpose or are they missing accidentally? |

| I hope I'm not reposting a question, but which new powers may be used with ABs from Deadlands? |

At the moment, none of them, and all of them.
That is, Cutter's said here that they're not allocating the new powers yet. That said, if you and your GM (or you and your player, if you're the GM) think that a given power would work well with a given AB, there's nothing to stop you from working it in. |

Another subtle diffeerence pointed out by Clint:

Well, the point is kind of moot since SW Deluxe debuted. Now, a Shaken character is simply limited to free actions only with no change in basic Pace. |

No problem - I prefer you to risk redundancy than leave anything out.

| I've translated (and slightly expanded) the list in this thread for the german Savagepedia. The list should also help to promote the changes in the new german "Gentleman's Edition Revised". |

Very cool!

Not sure that I can recall it:
Replacement Characters - Hazards - Travel - Powers (which do allow mulitple targets, and the changes to Blast, Bolt, Elemental Manipulation, and Speed) |

Area-attack damage is determined separately for each WildCard and for any group of extras (with one damage-roll that affects the whole group).
Source: SWD Errata to p. 70.
[SWEX said, damage was to be applied to each target separately, regardless of their status (WildCard or Extra).] |
