Seeing Sitting Duck's character conversions of some really cool western characters, I was wondering if Sitting Duck or any other SW maestro's are up to some other Cinematic Western hero conversions. Here are just a few that I'd like to see done:

The Man With No Name (A Few Dollars More)
Colonel Mortimer (A Few Dollars More)
El Indio (A Few Dollars More)
Sheriff John T. Chance (Rio Bravo)
Reuben J. "Rooster" Cogburn (True Grit & Rooster Cogburn)
Brett Maverick (Movie or TV - Preferably Movie-version)

I'm real curious what Edges and Shooting skill I'd need to simulate TMWNN's skill. See, I just saw Few Dollars More tonight and all through the movie, I was trying to put the moves and skills and such in game terms...It's the gamer in me Wink

Quick Draw (duh).
Improved Hip Shooting (Deadlands: Reloaded). Along with the Fanning the Hammer rules from the same setting.
Either Marksman (for trick shots) or an edge that reduces called shot / trick shot penalties (useful in the "hat duel" scene).
You can make an argument for Master (Shooting), along with Professional and Expert, but I don't think you need it. Similarly, Fast as Lighting (Deadlands: Reloaded) could fit, but isn't required.

Skill die can be anything from d10 on up (the minimum for those edges), though if the player rolls dice as well as one of mine does, then he could be played with a d4 and no Hip Shooting (eating the -4) and still never miss a shot. But he's probably on a d12 (or higher, if you snag one of the Legendary edges).

Duelist too.

True Grit, Fast as Lightning, No Mercy.
