I'm probably being pedantic but are you guys going to do a custom record sheet for 1889?

Well I thought there was but I dug through my archives and can't find one.
Is there one in Red Sands?

If not, I'm sure one of our resident sheetmeisters will fill the vaccuum shortly.
Very Happy

Come on you ultra talented sheet designers, where are our character sheets? Very Happy I have a game starting with Space 1889 this weekend and would like to have a fancy shmancy character sheet.

Unfortunately there was not one in the book. The ones I use are serviceable but not up to the quality of Cheyenne and other fine designers here.

...well, I have made a sheet or two, and I am a huge Space: 1889 nut.

But I haven't picked it up yet, so I don't think you'll see my take on it before your next game. Crying or Very sad

Cheers,
Patrick

Sorry, gang, I thought I'd replied on this thread too, but no.

It was, indeed, an error of omission, and we're finishing up a character sheet now. You'll see it soonish.

This is a request that the official sheet doesn't have the polygons you color in or circle for the Attributes or Skills.

Please use a "d__" format instead - much cleaner and easier to read than those ugly polygons. Saves space on the sheet too.

Thanks!

Well, requests are generally easier to take earlier in the process, but we'll see. You know, I wonder about that, too.

I smell a poll comin'.... [And you can all just quit thinkin' like that right now!]

Yep, there's been progress, but we're holding off on releasing it until we're completely happy with the finished product. Should be pretty soon.

Exactly what the humble crowd expects. Wink

Glad to see I am not the only one that dislikes the polygons!

And yes I am curious about the time line for new character sheets.

Define 'pretty soon'. Smile

I'll add my voice to the chorus of folks waiting for this.

Quite possibly, but -- as always -- no guarantees.

Coming in late here with this "me too," but I don't care for the polygons on the character sheets either.

Aug 09 - Oct 03 for one character sheet? Wow - it better be good (with no polygons) #1eek13

You presume a character sheet is the only thing we've been working on. Wink

If not fully satisfied with your character sheet, your purchase price will be refunded in full. Very Happy

But seriously, you can't want it right now and also demand that it be good. Good takes time, and it's only one of many projects in development right now. A small one, but more importantly another one. Keep in mind, too, that we're largely staffed by people with full-time jobs and families who do this work in what spare time they can squeeze out of a week.

That's not to say I'm complaining about having a job where I get to make stuff up. Smile It's just so you understand that we're not all sitting around the Pinnacle offices, willfully avoiding the task of doing the Space 1889 character sheet.

I agree with you fully that it better be good, so we've waited until then to release it. The definition of "pretty soon," in this case, would be when maximum goodness has been achieved. Wink
