Hey guys thought i would share an idea for a new setting with you
Arcadia takes place in an alternate 1912 in the American South West. In this wild west the inventions Nikola Tesla have revolutionized the world, allowing for the creation of machines and technologies only dreamed of. Now the world is gearing up for a new conflict as tensions in Europe begin to heat up.
This setting would have the following
-cold war intrigue
-advanced weapons and equipment
-weird creatures
-adventure
Let me know what you think of the initial idea dont have much in the way of crunch yet. _________________ Facebook

It sounds great to me! I'm a fan of steampunk and clockpunk settings. |

What do you mean by Cold War intrigue? In 1912 the Cold War isn't even a rumble on the horizon... Or are you referring to a general period of spy-vs-spy leading up to what I'm assuming is an electric ww1? _________________ No longer a luddite... I have a blog... Sounds like a good concept; just needs to be translated into fun! _________________ No longer a luddite... I have a blog... After losing settings, rules and more in PC wipe after wipe its now home to my swag of RPG homebrewing... http://theniconomicon.blogspot.com/ |

Was reading some stuff on Tesla. The man was a genius to bad things did not work for him.
For the weapon aplication of teslas inventions i came up with the following
M 1905 Teleforce Rifle
A recent military innovation finally released to public. The M1905 is combination rifle and power belt system. Power is fed via a single tesla coil mounted in the belts power packs. It fires a deadly stream of lightning at the target
Rng: 12/24/48
Dmg: 3d6
RoF: 1
Ammo: 20 charges
Reload Time: 4 actions
Ap: ap 2
Notes: +4 dmg vs Targest wearing metal armor, On a Snake eyes the power pack malfunctions the user takes 3d6 damage _________________ Facebook

All this talk of American-steampunk makes me the think of the trailer for Bioshock Infinite. Might this be serving as inspiration for my fellow Savages? <_< |
