Anyone seen where Battletech has been tried in Showdown rules? I have many mechs and before I decide to continue playing Old school CBT rules, I thought I would ask here.
I have searched these forums and though there are some Big robot/mech post ideas, there isn't really a CBT/ convert thread. If anyone finds something please post it here as I would like much to look at it.

I don't think I've seen anyone make a conversion for that in particular, but I can't imagine it being that hard to convert if you'd like to play around with the Troop Builder. Granted, I've never actually played the BattleTech CBT rules, so I don't know what it is looking for. If you're not quite sure about that, you might try describing a sample mech and its abilities (and CBT stats if you think it would help) and we can help you make a Savage Showdown version of it to get you started.

Also, I converted the Mech rules on Savage Showdown to PDF format so you can read them. Check your PM inbox and we can work out how to get that to you.
