I made my reservations last night. GAMA has been slow about updating their website but they finally posted the hotel information.
So who will be getting savage at Origins this summer?

I'm a tossup for either Origins or GenCon. Considering cost and travel time it'll most likely be Origins. _________________ I'm not an adversarial GM. I am a facilitator of awesomeness. - Dr Rotwang |

Steve and I will be there. We've got a special event planned for the Savage Saturday Night! A deadlands themed game that we tested out in November. We had a lot of fun with it so hopefully we can get a lot of players...no more than 20 though! Hmmm...based on the attendance last year, we may have to draw from a hat or something.
If you want more info on the game you can check out the con report we did for JimCon at Harrowed Halls. I think I even have a picture. _________________ "Well, not a hard man to track. Leaves dead men whereever he goes."

Still talking about it but Deb and I are probably only doing one Con this year in an attempt to save money. That will probably be COTC since it's the cheapest. I hate missing Origins, but it's quite an expensive trip!
Nothing final yet though. |

Probably going to be doing GenCon this year; the stars are just aligned that way.
Although ... I am tempted to come down just for Saturday. It's only a five hour drive afterall; with luck, I could be there by noon. I just need to keep the geekling from finding out.... _________________ The Loremaster

Looks like it's just Gen Con for me this year, Savages. Hopefully I'll see some of you there! _________________ Matthew Cutter

Not sure about Origins, I know I'm trying to get it cleared for Con on the Cob, but we'll have to see what our budget looks like. _________________ Kevin Rohan, Content Director

I intend to be there, and I might sucker myself into running something for Savage Saturday Night. As always, though, no guarantees. |

JimCon is a convention that Steve and I go to at our friend Jim's house. It's a pretty exclusive con since we can only fit the number of people that Jim's house can hold! _________________ "Well, not a hard man to track. Leaves dead men whereever he goes."

I'll be heading to Gen Con this year. Last time I went was with Count Zero when the Con was still in Milwaukee. _________________ Christian Lindke

The last pilgrimage to Mecca. We had the best beer and brats there, IIRC.

I will be at Origins this year and looking forward to Savage Saturday night.
I have a question. I have played in 3 Savage Saturdays and know there are many more players than game masters, but I also know people like to play with the "brand-name" dudes. So my question is this: Can any unknown fan (me for instance!) run a game Saturday night or do you have to be a VIP?
